About Us
We work on equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) issues in childhood(s),
focusing on children living in underrepresented and/or marginalised contexts.
GSCSN promotes existing scholarship around Global South childhood, and aims to
support early career scholars from the Global South.
We also explore joint research projects that disrupt dominant constructions of childhood.
Ultimately, GSCSN challenges western-centric knowledge and contributes to building plural understandings of childhood.
